In the framework of the project, an alternative therapy with the use of allogenic stem cells has been developed and which will accelerate the eradication of inflammation and support udder regeneration in dairy cattle, also reduce occurrence of mastitis in dairy herds. Dairy herds suffer from recurrent inflammation of the mammary glands (mastitis). So far, the only effective way to eliminate the disease is to use antibiotic with a effective broad-spectrums. From 28 of January, year 2022, the preventive of use of antibiotics in farm animals has been banned in the European Union, therefore there is a great need to find an effective and improving therapy that could increase treatment process of mastitis and eliminate antibiotics. The innovation of the offered solution for treatment mastitis in dairy cattle is the use of more available adipose tissue as a source material for stem cells. The obtained product (allogeneic stem cell suspension) as well as the application method for suffering cows might be use applied by veterinary doctors and help in dairy farms.
