[JU] ANNOUNCEMENT OF PRE-SELECTION OF IDEAS FOR PRE-IMPLEMENTATION WORK WITHIN THE SCIENCE FOR BUSINESS (S4B) PROJECT
The S4B project aims to support cooperation between science and business by facilitating the transfer of knowledge and technology from universities to enterprises. The initiative focuses on identifying innovative solutions developed by scientists and assisting in their commercialisation.
Who is it for?
We invite researchers from the Jagiellonian University, including Collegium Medicum, who have interesting research results and see real market applications for them in the areas of National Smart Specialisations (KIS 1–12).
How does it work?
- The pre-selection stage is a quick verification of the potential of the submitted idea/topic and the readiness of the research team to develop their ideas towards practical implementation and cooperation with business. The verification includes, among other things, intellectual property status and compliance with NSS/KIS areas.
- Researchers/teams that pass the pre-selection stage will receive comprehensive support in preparing their Application for the relevant competition.
What will you gain?
- Substantive support from Technology Transfer Centre CITTRU and the Special Purpose Vehicle Innocel in refining the project concept, scope of work, budget and commercialisation path,
- The opportunity to obtain funding for pre-implementation work (up to PLN 400,000).
- Priority for projects implementing the principles of sustainable development and environmentally friendly solutions.
